Uthando Africa is a social enterprise that partners with vulnerable communities in Sub-Saharan Africa to build a sustainable future for Africa.

We believe that everyone deserves to have access to the same opportunities for success, and we know that what’s possible when we come together.

Our mission is to fight poverty and lack of access to clean water, sanitation, and healthcare services in Sub-Saharan Africa. We believe that through our efforts, we can make the world a more just, equitable place—one that doesn’t leave anyone behind.

Through our Social Innovation Lab we provide start-up business support for entrepreneurs from these communities; providing them with a platform to sell their products to local, national and international markets.

We do this because we believe that social innovation can help fight global hunger, climate change, gender inequality and other challenges that disenfranchise vulnerable communities.
